Circleville, OH – Pending Board approval, Circleville City Schools is proud to announce the hiring of Michael Meddock as the next Head Girls Basketball Coach at Circleville High School. A dedicated and experienced leader, Meddock brings years of coaching experience at both the high school and middle school levels.

“Mike brings not only a wealth of basketball knowledge and coaching success, but also a proven commitment to developing student-athletes both on and off the court,” said Athletic Director Jason Wells. “We are excited to welcome him back to Circleville and look forward to the future of our girls basketball program under his leadership.”

Meddock began his career as an assistant varsity girls coach at Greenfield McClain High School, helping lead the program to back-to-back district titles. He went on to serve as the Head Varsity Girls Coach at Madison Plains High School, where he was named B.A.C. Coach of the Year in 2000. He guided the program to its first tournament victory and led the team to its first-ever district appearance while setting a school record for wins.

Meddock served as an assistant coach here at Circleville High School, coordinating the Tigers’ offense under then-head coach John Denen. He later led the program at Teays Valley High School, where he supported player recruitment efforts, and coached the Teays Valley East Middle School 8th Grade team to an undefeated league and tournament championship season.
