❄️ Community Update: Returning to School Monday and we need your help! ❄️

Circleville City Schools intends to return to school on Monday after a week off due to the significant snowfall and extreme cold. In addition to the frigid temperatures, many of our closures were necessary because of the conditions at bus stops, where safety is always our top priority.

We are incredibly thankful for the round-the-clock work of our city maintenance crews. The snow removal efforts and tireless hard work across our community have been amazing to witness and are helping Circleville get back to business as usual.

As we prepare to welcome our Tigers back, we are asking for the help of our community with clearing sidewalks and areas around bus stops in front of your homes, so students can safely wait for their buses.

Thank you for your continued support of our Tigers. It truly takes a village. 🖤🐯❤️

As we wrap up School Board Appreciation Month, we are honoring our Board members by sharing the “why” behind their service. Recently, we asked each member to share what inspired them to run for a seat on the Board and serve our district.

Thank you to our Board members for the time, leadership, and heart you give to Circleville City Schools. We appreciate you not just in January—but all year long! 🖤🐾

Today, our staff took part in a meaningful Staff Wellness PD Day, focusing on what matters most — caring for the whole person. From sessions supporting mental, physical, and even financial health, led by The Chase Haley Project and Dr. Sean Gorby, our team had the opportunity to pause, reflect, and recharge heading back into classes after Winter Break.

Circleville Nutrition helped keep the calm going with herbal teas and shakes, while comfort was served at lunch with a delicious chicken and noodles meal, prepared by Cheri Davis and our Food Service Department — the perfect way to warm up on a winter day.

📚 Reminder for students and families: Classes resume tomorrow, January 6, 2026. We can’t wait to welcome our Tigers back! 🐯✨
