Congratulations to Senior Sydney Lattimer for qualifying to the State Championships in the Long Jump. Sydney and coaches will depart at 7:15 am on Saturday, June 7th. Find a spot along the route and send her off with the community support! As we send her off, thank you to the Pickaway County Sheriffs Office for leading her out of town.

Circleville City Schools is proud to introduce Mrs. Melissa Seiler as the new Elementary Assistant Principal. Melissa brings 16 years of service in education. She has 3 years of building leadership experience where she defines her strengths as communication, rapport and accountability. Melissa began her journey in Education by attending Capital University for her education degree. She then obtained her Master's of Education in School Administration from Ashland University in 2012. She married her college sweetheart and together they live in Canal Winchester, with three children - Cambelle, Brecken, and Finley. We are excited to welcome her as a new Tiger!

A school-owned van was involved in a minor traffic incident this morning. A vehicle pulled out in front of our driver at the intersection of 188 and Bell Station Road. Two high school students were in the van. There are no reports of injuries at this time. Thank you to our local first responders and Pickaway County Sheriff's Department for their assistance.

Circleville City Schools is proud to announce the promotion of a long time employee, Mr. Chad Michael, as the new Principal of Circleville Elementary School. Mr. Michael, a proud native of Vinton County, Ohio, brings a wealth of experience, dedication, and heart to his new role. A graduate of Vinton County High School, Mr. Michael credits his hometown roots for shaping his strong sense of community and commitment to public education. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Ohio University, and later pursued graduate work at Capella University in Minnesota and the University of Dayton, where he refined his leadership in education. Mr. Michael began his journey with Circleville City Schools in 2015 as the Assistant Principal at Circleville Middle School. Over the past three years, he has served as one of two assistant principals at Circleville Elementary, where he has built meaningful relationships with students, families, and staff alike. Chad and his wife Kristie are the proud parents of two daughters—Aleigh, a CHS sophomore, and Harper, a CMS 7th grader. The Michael family proudly bleeds red and black, and they are passionate supporters of Tiger Nation both in and out of the classroom.
