Mrs. Groff and Ms. Cowdery’s second graders showed up in a BIG way to send off our boys and girls basketball teams! With handmade goodie bags, an enthusiastic cheer, and lots of smiles, they gave our players the ultimate Tiger Nation boost.
And the best part? After the send-off, students lined up for autographs and photos with their hometown heroes. Moments like these remind us how special it is to be on one campus — building connections, memories, and lifelong Tiger pride together. 🖤❤️
Now it’s time for all of Tiger Nation to rally behind our teams!
🏀 The Lady Tigers will play for a District Title on Saturday, Feb. 28 at 3 PM at Logan High School (Logan, OH).
🏀 The Boys Basketball Team will compete in the District Semifinal on Sunday, Mar. 1 at 2 PM at the Convocation Center (Athens, OH).
Let’s pack the stands and show our support! 🎉

Let’s keep spreading the positivity and celebrating the amazing people who make Circleville City Schools the best place to learn and grow!

Working in teams, they wrote, illustrated, and shared their affirmations with other classes, spreading encouragement throughout the school. Their impact didn’t stop there! As part of their community outreach, students decorated coffee sleeves with positive messages for Joy House Coffee right here in town.
At last week’s Coffee Chat, Dr. Halley and her team saw the project in action — and even received their own uplifting coffee sleeves! ☕✨
When our Tigers learn to persevere, they don’t just grow themselves — they lift up everyone around them!

Today we’re celebrating our incredible staff members who have received shout-outs from students and families! Your kindness, dedication, and commitment to doing what’s best for kids does not go unnoticed. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of our Tigers each and every day.

Attention Tiger Families: We would like to share our plans about the current weather conditions.
The snow storm is expected to leave our area between 12:30pm and 1pm. Therefore, we believe the safest situation is for students and staff to remain at school until normal dismissal times.
This decision will allow snow removal crews additional time to clear this morning's snowfall from roads and parking lots. Special thanks to our maintenance and custodial teams, who are working hard to clear the recent accumulation. We would also like to thank the City of Circleville for sending a team of plows who are currently working to clear campus streets! We appreciate your patience as buses will be running a bit slower during afternoon drop offs.
Again, Circleville City Schools is NOT planning to do an early release today. Thank you for trusting us with the safety of your children. Go Tigers!

We LOVE hearing from you, so come grab a cup of coffee and get your questions answered!

❄️ Community Update: Returning to School Monday and we need your help! ❄️
Circleville City Schools intends to return to school on Monday after a week off due to the significant snowfall and extreme cold. In addition to the frigid temperatures, many of our closures were necessary because of the conditions at bus stops, where safety is always our top priority.
We are incredibly thankful for the round-the-clock work of our city maintenance crews. The snow removal efforts and tireless hard work across our community have been amazing to witness and are helping Circleville get back to business as usual.
As we prepare to welcome our Tigers back, we are asking for the help of our community with clearing sidewalks and areas around bus stops in front of your homes, so students can safely wait for their buses.
Thank you for your continued support of our Tigers. It truly takes a village. 🖤🐯❤️

Thank you to our Board members for the time, leadership, and heart you give to Circleville City Schools. We appreciate you not just in January—but all year long! 🖤🐾
