On Thursday, March 4th, Circleville High School will be holding an ACT Testing Day for all members of the junior class. This will be a Remote Learning Day for grades 9, 10, and 12 ONLY. Grades PreK-8 will not be affected.
To be able to offer the test safely and to adhere to social distancing protocols, CHS will need all available classrooms to offer the ACT to the junior class to space out for test administration. Most of all students will be completed with the exam by 11:30 a.m. at which point the building will then be open for remediation and club meetings for the rest of the day. With the conclusion of the 3rd 9 weeks occurring on March 5th, students may be contacted to come in to make up work on a case by case basis in all grade levels (communicated in advance).
CHS will not run busses for any other grade level than 11th grade that morning and the building will be closed to all other students until 11:30 a.m. After the conclusion of the test, 11th graders will be permitted to leave for the day to continue remote learning or can stay in study hall until the end of the day and catch the bus for a ride home. CHS will provide lunch if they stay.
