Chromebook Distribution Information

Circleville City Schools is proud to offer 1:1 technology for all students in grades K-12! Over the past few months, our informational technology team and district administration have worked hard to expand our take-home technology offerings so every student whether attending school through the Tiger Remote Learning Option or attending school in-person will have a Chromebook to take home for remote learning days on Schedule B this year.

It is important to note, students will only be eligible to receive a Chromebook if their parent/guardian has signed off on the Chromebook Agreement Form and the Technology Acceptable Use Agreement form in their OneView Parent Accounts under back-to-school forms. These agreements prompt you to visit the digital link for the handbooks and agreements then return to your child's form to digitally sign off by selecting your agreement or disagreement with the dropdown options. If students already have a device from last year or have a personal device, they do not need to come to get a device.

For Tiger Remote Learning parents and students ONLY...
Students enrolled in the Tiger Remote Learning Option (K-12) will be able to receive their Google Chromebook from a distribution held at Circleville Elementary School on Monday and Tuesday, August 17th and 18th from 1-3 p.m. For distribution, parents will pull up in double lines to Circleville Elementary School as we do for parent pick-up and park shy of the crosswalk. Families will remain in their cars and be greeted by a member of our Tiger staff who will take their child's name and grade. After cross checking our Tiger Remote Learning List and checking if the Chromebook and Acceptable Use agreements have been signed off in OneView, they will be given their Chromebook for remote learning.

All other traditional students who will be attending school in-person will receive their devices during the first week of school as opposed to these days.

For traditional K-5 parents and students ONLY...
Families of traditional elementary students can come to Circleville Elementary School on Wednesday, August 19th (grade 3-5 only) and Thursday, August 20th (K-2 only) from 1-6 p.m. to pick up their child's Chromebook for the school year (after signing their Chromebook agreement online in OneView). Chromebooks will only be distributed after the agreement has been signed.

Families will also receive information packets from their child's teacher regarding lunch menus, calendars, Class Dojo codes, and teacher welcome letters at this time.

Have school supplies to send in for your child? Bring these items in marked with your child's name on one of these two days and we will take them to your child's classroom.

For traditional 6th grade parents and students ONLY...
All 6th grade students will receive their devices and charges during the first week of school. Parents are asked not to attend the Chromebook distribution days at Circleville Elementary School unless their student is enrolled in the Tiger Remote Learning Program (TRL). TRL pick-up days are Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 1-3 p.m. at CES (100 Tiger Drive, Circleville, OH).

All 6th grade students will receive their Chromebooks during the first week of in-person classes at Circleville Middle School.

For traditional 7th-12th grade parents and students ONLY...
Last year, we sent home Chromebooks for all students in grades 7-12 with chargers to remote learn for the 4th 9 weeks. In the event there is an issue with your device and/or charger, please email [email protected] to make an appointment or schedule a time to receive assistance.

For all NEW traditional 7th-12th grade parents and students ONLY...
For new students who did not attend Circleville City Schools last school year or who have returned their Chromebook from over the summer, they will receive their Chromebooks during the first week of in-person classes at Circleville Middle School.
