Three CHS students names to Ohio Attorney General’s Teen Ambassador Board
Junior Emma Beavers, junior Jordan Rhymer, and senior Emma Shaw join the prestigious board this year whose mission is to create future leaders with an inside look at Ohio law and government.

Three Circleville High School students have been named to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost’s 2020-2021 Teen Ambassador Board.

Junior Emma Beavers, junior Jordan Rhymer, and senior Emma Shaw join the prestigious board this year whose mission is to create future leaders with an inside look at Ohio law and government. The three tigers will serve a one-year term and convene twice in Columbus (pandemic safety pending) during their tenure on the board.

The Attorney General’s Teen Ambassador Board gives Ohio’s teens an unparalleled opportunity to engage in government and law. Students will address some of the greatest issues facing our state and develop solutions to improve the lives of Ohioans. Ambassadors will have the opportunity to receive training on important and pertinent matters, meet with elected officials and interact with Assistant Attorney General.

Last year’s student board members met with Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost, talked with members of the Ohio Senate and House of Representatives, toured the Ohio Supreme Court, and spoke with senior administrative staff, employees, and BCI scientists of the Attorney General’s Office.

Applicants were selected for this honor based on their involvement within their school, volunteerism in their community, and their solutions and resolve to identify problems facing Ohioans and teens across the state.

On behalf of Circleville City Schools, we would like to congratulate Emma, Jordan, and Emma on this outstanding achievement!
