Dr. Seuss’ birthday is March 2nd and to celebrate we have planned to spend a couple of weeks reading his books and incorporating them into our daily work. The week of March 2nd, we will have special activities planned for everyone to enjoy. We hope all of the children will join us in this fun week of Dr. Seuss excitement!
Monday, Mar, 2 – Pajama Day, as we read, I Am Not Going to Get Up Today! The children are invited to wear their pajamas to school!
Tuesday, Mar. 3 - Top Hat Tuesday, as we read The Cat in the Hat and The Cat in the Hat Comes Back. The Children may wear their favorite hat to school.
Wednesday, Mar. 4 - Wacky Wednesday. We will read Wacky Wednesday and the children are invited to wear their craziest outfits!!
Thursday, Mar. 5 – Think in Your Socks Day! We will read Fox in Sox and The Foot Book and children are invited to wear crazy socks.
Friday, Mar. 6 - Character Dress-Up Day! Come dressed as your favorite Dr. Seuss character. We will read Green Eggs and Ham and try eating them in class. ” Do you like green eggs and ham?”
