On Tuesday, February 12th, Circleville Elementary School will be taking part in the Kids Heart Challenge starting Feb. 12th to learn about heart health and raise funds for the American Heart Association. The event will run through February 21st.
The goal of the Kids Heart Health Challenge is to provide a "fun and exciting event where your student learns about their heart while helping others and raising money for the American Heart Association. The Kids Heart Challenge prepares your child for success through physical and emotional well-being."
During the challenge, kids learn jump rope skills during their PE time while learning about the heart and how to make a difference in the lives of others! Students, with parents permission, can register and join the Circleville Elementary School building team by visiting the signup page at
www2.heart.org.
As of 3 p.m. on Tuesday, February 5th, the team is 31 students strong and pre-registration has yielded $1,245 in fundraising for the American Heart Association with an end building goal of $5,000 raised as a result of the 10-day challenge.
