SCHOOL PICTURE DAY
On Tuesday, October 2, your child will have his/her picture
taken for school records and the school yearbook. If you
wish to purchase school pictures, please complete the
information on the money envelope that was sent home
earlier this week and have your child return it to school on
October 2. If you have misplaced the envelope, we have
extras in the school office. If writing a check, please make
it out to Lifetouch.

FALL FUNDRAISER
The last day to send in your order form(s) for the fall fundraiser
is Monday, October 8. If your child is not participating, please
return the blank order forms so that others can use them.
Please do not send in any money with the order, just the order
form(s). Thank you in advance for your participation. We expect
the products to arrive the week of October 29. Most all of the
profit we make will go towards playground equipment.

HEALTH SCREENING
On September 24 or 28 your child will have a vision and hearing
screening given by the school nurse, Karen Borland. If there is a
concern found, you will be contacted by her.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS
1. Please contact the school when your child is going to be
absent or tardy. An answering machine is always on for
this purpose, 474-3940.

2. Please check your child's hair nightly for nits/lice, and
treat accordingly.

3. We are collecting General Mills Box tops. Our school receives
10 cents for every box top collected until March 14.

4. Please wait outside of in the school lobby area when picking
your child up at the end of the day. The 3:10 bell is the signal
to go to the classroom.

5. It might be a good idea for your child to have an extra change
of clothing in the book bag for milk or juice spills that occur, or
if the child did not make it to the bathroom in time.
