Tues., Oct. 2 School Picture Day
Oct. 15-19 No School: Circleville Pumpkin Show

1. We recently had installed on our playground a rummber mat surface around one of the larger
areas previously covered by very small pieces of gravel. Funds were made available through the
permanent improvement levy passed a few years ago.

2. Students will have a vision and hearing screening done by the school nurse the week of
September 24. You will be notified of any concerns found.

3. We soon will be assessing each student in math similar to the language arts and reading
screening done in August. This will let us know where your child is in the math area and help
guide teacher instruction.

4. School bus safety was a topic of discussion on Tuesday, September 18. We had an assembly
lead by bus driver, Julie Mumaw and Buster the Bus.

5. Several children have been found to have nits and/or head lice. Please check your child' hair
nightly. Please treat your child's hair if nits or lice are found and contact the school to let us know.

6. School fees are due by Friday, September 28. The $20 is used for purchase of paper, art and
science supplies throughout the school year.
