Nov. 5-14 Book Fair in library
Wed., Nov. 7 Report cards issued and conferences, 3:30-6:30
(also Nov. 13 for conferences, 3:30-6:30)

TIGER PAW AWARD
Beginning the week of October 22, students can be recognized
with a "Tiger Paw" to be placed in the lobby near the school
office by demonstrating growth or improvement in not only
academic success, but also in life skills such as honesty,
responsibility, caring, cooperation, etc. The award is based
on each child individually and eventually it is hoped that each
child will receive this recognition. Names will be announced
over the intercom at the conclusion of the week.

FUNDRAISER PRODUCTS
We expect the products from the fall fundraiser to be
delivered at school on Tuesday, October 30. Please plan
on picking up your order sometime that week during school
hours in front of your child's classroom. If the order is fairly
small, we will send it home with your child on October 30.

The money is due by Friday, November 9. You can pay by
cash or a check made payable to Mound Street PTB. Most
all of the profits will be spent on playground improvements.
Your child will receive the prizes earned once the money
has been turned in to school.

HALLOWEEN FUN ON OCTOBER 31
We plan on having a Halloween Parade on our playground
beginning promptly at 2:00 on Wednesday, October 31.
Your child can wear a costume to school, or may bring
in the costume to change into after lunch. The simpler the
costume the better for all concerned. Please, no items that
look like guns, knives, swords, etc. of any kind. Make sure
you child can see clearly for the parade.
Please be aware of the no parking signs that surround our
school and areas marked for bus parking only.
