Public Notice of Request for Proposals

Request for Proposal for Science curriculum adoption:


Circleville City Schools is accepting proposals in the District Office from October 16, 2023 until 3 p.m. on February 23, 2024 to purchase a core Science curriculum for students in grades K-12. All proposals must meet the following guidelines:


  • Aligned K-12, meaning the company must offer a product that includes elementary, middle, and high school components.

  • Must meet expectations in all three gateways, alignment, designed for NGSS, coherence and scope, and usability as determined by EdReports and/or Ohio Materials Matter.


A copy of the details can be received from the Circleville City School District Office, 388 Clark

Drive, Circleville, OH 43113. Any questions should be directed to [email protected].

Proposals will be received by the Circleville City School District Office until 3 p.m. on February

23, 2024. All proposals must be received by the due date and time in a package marked

“Proposal for Core Science Curriculum.” Proposals received after the specific

date and time are considered late and will not be opened.


The Circleville City Schools District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or any part

of any proposal and accept the proposal which is best as evidenced by reasons relative to the

purpose of the purchase.


Core Science Curriculum Details:


Circleville City Schools is interested in purchasing a core Science curriculum for students in grades K-12. The curriculum should include high quality, evidenced-based resources that build a solid science foundation for all students. It should promote student engagement, motivate students to build skills, and provide instructional scaffolding for all students. The teacher and student-friendly curriculum program should include digital content,

formative and summative assessments, student data, progress monitoring, and management tools. The Science curriculum program should be aligned to Ohio’s Science Learning Standards and differentiated to meet the needs of a diverse population of learners.

Core English Language Arts Curriculum Details


Circleville City Schools is interested in purchasing a core English Language Arts curriculum for students in grades K-12. The curriculum should include high quality, evidenced-based language and literacy resources that build a solid literacy foundation for all students, promotes student engagement, motivates students to build skills and provides instructional scaffolding for all students. The teacher and student-friendly curriculum program should include digital content,

CLOSED: The Circleville City School District is accepting proposals in the district Office from August 3, 2022 until 3 p.m. on August  10, 2022 for the Snow Removal on Circleville City Schools Campus.

In the event of a measurable snowfall, (1" inch or more) contracted company would provide snow removal
to all drives (including Tiger Drive from the round-about to CES) and parking areas on Circleville City
Schools. Due to different start times at the buildings the snow would need to be removed at various times.

Therefore, the High School bus lot would need to have the snow removed by 5:30a.m. The remainder of the
locations would need to be cleaned no later than 7:00a.m. In the event that the District closes due to the
weather, the lots would still need to be cleaned off no later than 9:00a.m.

In the event of a significant snowfall (1 inch or more) during school hours, parking lots would need to be
cleaned as soon as possible, the Facilities Director or the designee, will contact the company for these snow
removals.

In the event of freezing rain and/or ice, the Facilities Director will notify the company to spread
either an ice melt or grit on the driveways and parking lots.

Insurance Coverage:
In order to be considered for the Snow Removal Bid, the Company must provide a certificate of insurance
listing the company for damages and liability with quote.
