1. Artist Presentation – Present to the class 10 facts about the artist and their work and show 10 photos of the artist’s work. 2.
& 3. Free choice projects - create a work of their choice of media and subject matter – larger than 8½” X 11”. 4. Clay project – use any method. 5. Clay project – use any method – longer than 8”. 6. Make a scratchboard drawing – any subject. 7.&8. Linoleum block printing project. – turn in 3 good prints for a double grade. |
1. Learn about an artist and be able to explain and show examples to the class. 2.
& 3. Create what the student likes to do best. 4. Use clay skills to create an art work. 5. Use clay skills to create an art work at least 8” in height or width. 6. Use drawing skills to make a scratchboard project. 7.&
8. Use design skills to create a design that will be printed in multiples to create a new, longer design. They will turn in 3 good prints for a double grade. |
